What are the things I need to look for.

So CE means that the a product CE Certification confirms that your product complies with all relevant European directives. It indicates that the product is allowed to be traded within the European Economic Area. So its Safe to use.

However there are some things to be wary of.

Some importers stamp their products with a slight variation of the CE mark that on passing resembles the CE certification. CE in that case means China Export and nothing more. The China Export logo which is similar means that the unit has passes no safety checks, none.
