What is ISO 9001. NOT a safety certificate.

It is a Quality Management NOT safety standard.

ISO 9001 is the international standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system (QMS). Organizations use the standard to demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements.

What is ISO 2000? NOT a safety certificate.

ISO is International Organization for Standardization and responsible for international management standards. ISO 9001: 2000 is one of the management standards that ISO created.

QC Passed.

This sticker is just a sticker....

Gas Safe.

Gas Safe have engineers around the UK you can check with them re installation,. They will NOT Install a unit that is NOT CE certified to be used in the UK. ttps://www.gassaferegister.co.uk/

NB this certificate clearly states that the certificate covers only ONE test sample NOT a production run. To be price competitive some safety features may have been removed to save money, so a CE csafety certificate cannot be issued as it would not pass the tests.

Chinese companies printing close replica of European standards logo on products

CE marks. We expect that all legal products that carry the CE certification are tested and meet the strict testing to be used by us and therefore safe.

The reason for this assumption is that goods with CE marking demonstrate that they meet relevant and strict EU standards. This marking brings benefit to all in the supply chain and most notably, the consumer.

Unfortunately, there exists a very similar mark which the majority of consumers and even sellers may see as the CE mark of the European Union but actually is something completely different. This “CE” mark means “China Export” and only means that the product was manufactured in China.

It is believed by various organizations that this similarity is not a chance coincidence and that this expresses an aggressive approach to sell into the European market without the right standards.

The China Export logo is not registered; it does not confirm positive test results and is placed by Chinese manufacturers arbitrarily.

For the Reseller
You have a legal responsibility to ensure that the goods you sell are legally marked. If you are a supplier/importer in the UK, the penalty for the supply of non-compliant products is imprisonment and/or a fine. Under the regulations, authorities are given the powers to enter premises, test products and seize records and products. Regulations also give the authorities the power to force manufacturers to recall or replace faulty product.

For the Consumer
If you are trying to identify whether your goods are CE marked you should check either the product, manual or ask your supplier for documentation. If the logo cannot be found or your supplier can’t supply you a CE certificate then your goods are not compliant and you should return them to your supplier for a refund.

The European Commission is aware that CE marking, like other certifications marks, is misused. CE marking is sometimes affixed to products that do not fulfill the legal requirements and conditions, or it is affixed to products for which it is not required. In one case it was reported that "Chinese manufacturers were submitting well-engineered electrical products to obtain conformity testing reports, but then removing non-essential components in production to reduce costs".[13] A test of 27 electrical chargers found that all the eight legitimately branded ones with a reputable name met safety standards, but none of those unbranded or with minor names did, despite bearing the mark;[13] non-compliant devices were actually potentially unreliable and dangerous, presenting electrical and fire hazards.

There are also cases in which the product complies with the applicable requirements, but the form, dimensions, or proportions of the mark itself are not as specified in the legislation.[14]
